First Communions

First Communion for children aged 8 years and older occurs around June each year.

In the Anglican tradition, First Communion is a significant ceremony where a person receives the Eucharist for the first time. This event is typically celebrated after the individual has been baptized and, in some cases, confirmed. The age at which First Communion is received can vary, but it often occurs between the ages of seven and thirteen, similar to other Christian traditions.

The ceremony itself may not be as elaborate as in the Catholic Church, but it is still an important milestone. Some Anglican churches allow for infant communion, while others require the individual to be confirmed first, usually during their teenage years.
