Children and Families
We support the Anglican Church Southern Queensland’s policy on the protection of children.
Children are most welcome at all of our churches. If your littlies are noisy or restless, please relax – we understand. There is generally a children’s area.
A children’s version of the service is provided, as well as colouring sheets and crayons to take home.
Children are a large part of our weekly services, helping out where they can and participating in liturgy.

Maroochydore Anglican Community
Imagine if children ran the Church! So, we met together with our families to see what would work for their busy lives – a Saturday afternoon at 4pm worked! We created a relaxed style of worship (and with children we just go with the flow/Spirit): Gathering for some songs, a bible reading, discussion together, prayers that the children lead us, songs and then finish with an activity based on the bible reading and then sharing in a BBQ Dinner.

Join us for our Intergenerational Service, an interactive and community building service that includes a Bible Message, songs, prayers, symbolic activities and a take home activity to stimulate our faith in Christ to grow – all of God’s people together – youngest being newborn twins to the most mature being 102 years young. Passing on God’s story and learning across the generations.
