Join us for a special fundraising afternoon tea featuring a captivating slide show presentation by St Mark’s parishioners, Chris Cooper and Michael Chittick.

Discover the fascinating stories and legends behind numerous churches dedicated to lesser-known saints, gathered during their recent travels through England and along the Camino.

SUNDAY Conversation - On the Dementia Journey and Thoughts on the Carer's Role

The dementia journey creates challenging changes.

Support and resources will be discussed.

Lorrae and Vince O’Rourke, well-known presenters and volunteer facilitators of the Dementia Network Sunshine Coast, will share their thoughts and experiences.

Vince authored the book, I Wish I Were a Leper, about his caring journey for his wife, who was diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

Entry Fee: $10 to cover afternoon tea and costs.

St Mary’s Patronal Festival 9am Sun 10 Aug 2025 Montville

St Mary's Anglican Church in Montville will celebrate its patronal festival 9am Sunday 10 August 2025.

There will be no services at Maleny or Kenilworth this Sunday as we gather at Montville to join in the celebrations.

Officiating: Ven Dr Lucy Morris

Guest soloist: Kristy Turner

St Mary’s Art Exhibition

Followed by a celebratory morning tea.

The church, established in 1914, has a rich history of community involvement and resilience, having survived numerous challenges over the years.

St Mary's Church has been a central part of the Montville Community for 111 years, hosting many important events such as baptisms and weddings (one famous weekend actually hosted seven weddings).

The church remains open daily for quiet reflection and hosts weekly services, inviting both locals and visitors to participate. People from all over the world come to visit and leave messages of love and appreciation in the visitors book at the back of the church.

Our patronal festival provides a special moment in the year. Current and former parishioners, local residents and visitors are all invited to come and join us to celebrate.
